After service with the RAF I studied Art, History and
Religious Education at Bede College, Durham. I then
embarked upon a 35 year teaching career, followed by eight
years at Beamish Museum.
Since retirement I have
exhibited my paintings with The Guild of Aviation Artists,
(I am an Associate Member) The Society of Artists, The
Royal Miniature Society, The Hilliard Society and the
Society of Miniaturists.
I am also interested in Cartooning
and Printmaking. I joined the North of England Art Club in
2008 to widen the scope of my artwork.
